Kevin is a globally recognized expert in the areas of collaboration and unified communication, with a special focus on implementing Microsoft UC&C solutions. He is the author of numerous No Jitter columns about successfully deploying Microsoft’s Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and Teams solutions, shares this expertise in sessions each year at Enterprise Connect, and is a member of the elite UC Strategies team. Kevin has assisted numerous medium and large enterprises to identify the most appropriate UC&C solution based on a methodical process to identify and prioritize business objectives along with end users requirements, evaluate multiple viable options, and provide clear, concise recommendations along with achievable timelines and realistic budgets. After developing a strategy, Kevin is often asked to oversee the implementation of the strategy and he has happily done this for large Cisco UC and Lync deployments. Most recently Kevin has assisted a number of organizations to develop their UC&C practices and to define service offerings related to UC and collaboration.

    Laura Marx is a seasoned marketing and strategy professional who has been at Polycom for eight years. Laura’s team drives the marketing and go-to-market for strategic alliances like Microsoft, Zoom, and BlueJeans. Laura and her team lead the solutions launches, events, sales and partner enablement and joint marketing efforts around Polycom’s engagements with alliances. She has held other roles at Polycom including Go-To-Market for Mobility and Planning and Operations for SMB. Prior to joining Polycom, she served as the Sr. Director of Strategy and Business Development at Monster.com where she was part of the Corporate Development team that formed strategic partnerships with over 600 media outlets, including Comcast, The New York Times, Chicago Sun Times, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Laura has an MBA from Boston University in Entrepreneurship, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. Laura lives in the Boston area with her husband and two children.

    Kevin N. Isacks is the Vice President of SaaS Solutions Engineering at Ribbon Communications, which he joined from Sonus Networks, where he held a number of positions including vice president of Session Border Controller (SBC) Engineering. Kevin offers more than 20 years of global experience in the unified communications (UC) field. Much of that time has been dedicated toward designing and architecting voice-over-IP (VoIP) products. Prior to Sonus, Kevin spent a majority of his career with Network Equipment Technologies (NET), acquired by Sonus in 2012, where he served as the Chief Development Officer. Kevin holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Natal, South Africa.

    Eric Krapf is General Manager and Program Co-Chair for Enterprise Connect, the leading conference/exhibition and online events brand in the enterprise communications industry. He has been Enterprise Connect’s Program Co-Chair for over a decade. He is also publisher of No Jitter, the Enterprise Connect community’s daily news and analysis website. Eric served as editor of No Jitter from its founding in 2007 until taking over as publisher in 2015. From 1996 to 2004, Eric was managing editor of Business Communications Review (BCR) magazine, and from 2004 to 2007, he was the magazine's editor. Before coming to BCR, he was managing editor and senior editor of America's Network magazine, covering the public telecommunications industry. Prior to working in high-tech journalism, he was a reporter and editor at newspapers in Connecticut and Texas.
